Georgia State professor to join forum on religion and art for Guggenheim

Louis A. Ruprecht, Jr., the William M. Suttles Chair of Religious Studies at Georgia State, will be a panelist for an online forum sponsored by the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York.
The forum, titled "The Spiritual (Re)Turn," will discuss the relationship between religion and modern art. It was designed in tandem with the exhibition of the work of Vasily Kandinsky that opened at the Guggenheim on September 18, 2009.
Other panelistsinclude Krista Tippett of NPR’s “Speaking of Faith,” Columbia Religion Professor Mark C. Taylor, and visual artist Huma Bhabha.
