Welcome to the ISRE Atlanta 2006 Conference Website

August 6-10, 2006
International Society for Research on Emotions

The annual ISRE conference comes at an exciting time for emotion research. The emotions have become central in the explorations of morality, decision-making, social cognition, health, culture, intergroup relations, the evolution of minds, and the neurobiological bases of behavior.

This year’s conference will be held in Atlanta from August 6-10, 2006 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel, a landmark of the downtown Atlanta skyline.

Conference participants will enjoy a special conference rate of $93 per room for up to quadruple occupancy, and be within walking distance of CNN, the Centennial Olympic Park and the newly opened Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest. The conference will be open to emotion scholars from all disciplines.
