The College of Arts and Sciences provides the opportunity for students who are not in direct pursuit of a graduate degree to take courses in some departments. Applicants seeking the status of non-degree or transient student are subject to the same fees and application restrictions of other applicants, although departmental standards for admission may vary.
Non-Degree status is for applicants that have completed the baccalaureate degree and are looking to take a few graduate courses. Non-Degree students are allowed to take a maximum of 9 graduate credit hours. Applicants with a baccalaureate degree wishing to take undergraduate courses should apply for Post-Baccalaureate status through Undergraduate Admission. The Non-Degree application requires the following:
