In July and August 2007 we will return to Naxçivan for another season of survey and excavation. We plan to map Oglanqala, begin a magnetometry survey of the site, and put in some test excavations to test the survey. We will also continue our intensive survey of Sharur focusing on the “landscape of fortresses” north of Oglanqala.
