How do I request a change to my major, concentration, or minor?
If you are currently in the College of Arts & Sciences and want to change your major, concentration or minor, you will need to fill out the appropriate form in room 418 General Classroom Building. You can also find this change of major form on our website. Please print the form and mail, fax, or hand-deliver it to our office.
If you are not currently in the College of Arts & Sciences but want to change to a major in our college, please visit the Office of Academic Assistance in your current college. You will fill out their form, which will be sent to Arts & Sciences along with your file.
If you are currently in the College of Arts & Sciences but want to change to another college, please fill out the appropriate form in room 418 General Classroom Building. You can also find this change of college form on our website. Please print the form and mail, fax, or hand-deliver it to our office. We will process this form and then send your file to the appropriate college.
*Please note that if you started at Georgia State after Fall of 2000 and have less than 42 total hours and/or have undeclared major, you are advised in the Student Advisement Center.
