How do I arrange to speak with an academic advisor?
Academic Advisors in the College of Arts & Sciences see undergraduate students on an appointment or walk-in basis.
Appointment:
To schedule an appointment with your academic advisor, please call our office at (404) 413-5000 or stop by room 418 General Classroom Building. The appointment with your advisor will be scheduled for thirty minutes. Please contact our office in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Walk-In:
There is a walk-in advisor available for brief, general questions in room 418 General Classroom Building.
Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 am - 5:15 pm
Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
*Please note that the walk-in advisor may not be the designated advisor for your major. The walk-in advisor will assist you as fully as possible. However, if you have a specific question regarding your academic program, it is advisable to schedule an appointment or come back when your academic advisor is the walk-in advisor.
** We recommend that all students see both their academic advisor and faculty advisor in their major department.
*** The Undergraduate Catalog is to be used along with your academic evaluation and is used during academic advisement.
